Update- New Content, Major Rewrites

CHANGELOG
yeah i think i should write one of these for a major overhaul like this, sorry for not updating for a long while

  • Added Pilot Gear
    • Now you all have to deal with Werewolf Pills.
  • Removed the Martial Artist Talent
    • I didn’t like it and it wasn’t working the way I intended, so its dead now. I may come back to the concept to try and bring it up to snuff, but until then its dead and gone, sorry.
  • Added the Stratego Talent
    • I did write a talent that’s very cool and I think will be fun for players who want to feel more “in control” of the battles they fight by manipulating the battlefield and deployment of themselves and enemies.
  • Renamed Chomolungma to Lhotse
    • Noted Thought Criminal Kai Tave is adding an actual Chomolungma to an official work, so I renamed Cho to Lho. It's a nice name, and will save everyone the headache of LCP mixing in the future.
  • HORUS DRAGON has received a complete rework
    • I got some very well rounded actual-play feedback about the Dragon; while it was firing on all cylinders to fulfill its class fantasy, it had some very big problems. Namely, it was heat-hungry, action hungry, and generally only got to do one or two cool things a fight, wasting the rest of its turns stabilizing or repositioning. While having “down turns” where you reposition is an important part of its intended design, it was far too strict. Hopefully with this rework it’ll feel a little better to pilot, while still having that predatory bite that makes it appealing.
  • Minor text fixes, number fixes, finished texts.
    • I’m bad at small details but i’m very very good at pretty words please forgive me.

(1 edit)

in case no-one has brought it up yet, the Dragonsbreath Cutter weapon lists 2-kinetic + 4-burn in the PDF, but only 2-kinetic in the LCP

only really caught it because it seemed weirdly weak in comp/con, and the flavour-text still kinda suggested a burn-component

Thank you! I'll add that to my pile of things to patch up
