DRAGONSMOKE: Test Edition

The battlefield is choked with gunsmoke and the sounds of combat- swords clashing, spears splintering against shields, the crack of the musket, the boom of the cannon, the war-cries of the tides of Evil hurl themselves at those who would defend their homes from it, and finally the great roar of a dragon diving from the sky to scatter men like they were ants. This is battle in the Known World, this is the battlefield Dragonsmoke invites you to imagine as your miniatures cross the table and seize victory!

A miniatures game of epic pike-and-shot fantasy warfare, set in a land inspired by Asia Minor and the Mediterranean, where the forces of Evil clash against honorable warriors for the fate of kingdoms. Dragonsmoke is heavily inspired by games such as Warhammer Fantasy and Hail Caesar!, designed to be easy to learn and easy to play by people unused to the genre.

This document contains all the core rules for Dragonsmoke and links to the army lists so that you can pick a faction to play. It also contains an invitation that you try the game and and see what breaks! Games never got anywhere without testing and so- we ask that if the game seems interesting, you give it a read and give it a spin, trying to break it, and tell us what you find!
